<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Od kod so avtorji črpali znanje za pisanje knjige </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Stoječa voda, Odsevi iz mokrišč?</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Gotovo si podatkov niso izmislili – a lahko dvomimo o njihovi resničnosti?</span></p>

<p><b>Kaj je bibliografija?</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Da bi razlikovali med resničnimi in dvomljivimi, nepopolnimi ali napačnimi informacijami ter informacijami, ki jih še vedno raziskujejo (in jih je treba zato še potrditi), se moramo sklicevati na to, kar trdijo številni znanstveniki, medsebojno povezani prek svojih člankov.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kje najdemo te članke? V revijah! Vendar ne v tistih s polic kioskov, temveč v znanstvenih revijah, ki jih izdajajo univerze in druge raziskovalne ustanove. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In kako smo lahko prepričani, da je tisto, kar v teh revi</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">jah objavijo raziskovalci, resnično? Članke preberejo še drugi znanstveniki, ne da bi razkrili avtorja besedila (da bi se izognili kakršnemu koli vplivanju). K besedilu napišejo svojo recenzijo – ga torej strokovno ocenijo in ga tako podprejo ali zav</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">rnejo. Revije, ki uporabljajo ta način (poimenovan strokovni pregled, angl. </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">peer Review</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">), so pogosto najbolj zanesljive.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Podlaga raziskovalnega dela je torej </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">znanstvena metoda</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> – metoda dela, izoblikovana v dolgoletni zgodovini raziskav, ki znanstvenikom omogoča, da oblikujejo hipoteze, jih preverijo in opišejo svoje poskuse tako, da jih (vsaj v teoriji) lahko vsakdo ponovi in jih tudi sam preveri.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Naj povzamemo: bibliografija je seznam znanstvenih člankov, ki so jih avtorji pregledali in iz katerih so uporabili informacije za pisanje knjige.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Večina znanstvenih člankov s področja znanosti, tehnologije, inženirstva in matematike je napisana v angleščini. Angleščino uporabimo zato, da nas razumejo po vsem svetu in da se izognemo nenatančnim prevodom. Zato je znanje angleščine tako pomembno za vsakogar, ki želi postati znanstvenik!</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">Kje najdemo te članke? V znanstvenih knjigah in revijah, ki jih izdajajo univerze in druge raziskovalne ustanove. </span></p>

To je metoda dela, ki so jo izoblikovali v dolgoletni zgodovini raziskav, in znanstvenikom omogoča, da oblikujejo hipoteze, jih preverijo in opišejo svoje poskuse tako, da jih lahko, vsaj v teoriji, vsakdo ponovi in preveri.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">Da bi razlikovali med resničnimi in dvomljivimi, nepopolnimi ali napačnimi informacijami ter tudi ugotovitvami, ki jih še vedno raziskujejo, se moramo sklicevati na to, kar so ugotovili številni znanstveniki v svojih člankih.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">Kje najdemo te članke? V znanstvenih knjigah in revijah, ki jih izdajajo univerze in druge raziskovalne ustanove. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">In kako smo lahko prepričani, da je tisto, kar v teh revi</span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;"><span>j</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;"><span>a</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;"><span>h objavijo raziskovalci, resnično? Članke raziskovalcev preberejo drugi znanstveniki, ne da bi vedeli, kdo je avtor besedila. Tako se izognejo kakršnemu koli vplivu. K besedilu napišejo svojo recenzijo, ga torej strokovno ocenijo in ga tako p</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;"><span>o</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;"><span>dprejo ali zav</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">rnejo. Revije, ki uporabljajo tovrsten strokovni pregled, angl. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;"><i>peer Review</i></span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">, so pogosto najbolj zanesljive.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">Podlaga raziskovalnega dela je torej </span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;"><i>znanstvena metoda</i></span><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">. To je metoda dela, ki so jo izoblikovali v dolgoletni zgodovini raziskav, in znanstvenikom omogoča, da oblikujejo hipoteze, jih preverijo in opišejo svoje poskuse tako, da jih lahko, vsaj v teoriji, vsakdo ponovi in preveri.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">Bibliografija je torej seznam znanstvenih člankov, ki so jih avtorji knjige pregledali, in iz katerih so črpali informacije za pisanje knjige.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial, serif;">Večina znanstvenih člankov s področja znanosti, tehnologije, inženirstva in matematike je napisana v angleščini. Angleščino uporabimo zato, da nas razumejo po vsem svetu in da se izognemo nenatančnim prevodom. Zato je znanje angleščine tako pomembno za vsakogar, ki želi postati znanstvenik!</span></p>

<p><span>Pipinova knjiga je dobila ime po Pipinu, mešancu, ki smo ga posvojili iz Društva za zaščito živali v Kranju. Bil je majčken nagajivec, neverjetno lep in strašansko prijaznega značaja. Ime so mu nadeli že v zavetišču, kamor so ga pripeljali iz družine preveč navdušene babice, ki ga je kupila vnukom za novoletno darilo, prej pa pozabila vprašati starše, če si psa želijo. Ker je bil Pipinov prihod povezan z ustanovitvijo na</span><span>š</span><span>e družinske založbe, je bilo skoraj samoumevno, da je ta dobila ime Pipinova knjiga.</span></p>
<p><span>Od ustanovitve dalje izdajamo “poučne knjige”, bodisi v obliki formalnega izobraževanja, pa tudi tiste, ki so poučne na drugačen način, in nam pripovedujejo morda o duševnih stiskah, ali pa težavah živali v zavetiščih drugod po svetu. </span></p>
<p><span>Ena od knjig, ki je prišla na naše knjižne police konec lanskega leta, in spada v kombinacijo obeh omenjenih področij, so <strong>PASJI DNEVI</strong> Ericke Waller, čustvene pisateljice z otoka, mame treh deklic in treh pasjih nadobudnežev, ki se je tudi sama srečala z marsikatero duševno stisko, pri prebroditvi katere so ji pomagali njeni štirinožni prijatelji. Knjiga, četudi zasnovana kot vzporedna zgodba treh ljudi, ki jim na prvi pogled ni nič skupnega, razkriva različne tabuje človekovih težav, o katerih tudi danes premalo naglas govorimo. Žalovanje, samo-poškodovanje, nasilje v družini, odvzem otroka, iskanje lastnega jaza, sprejemanje samega sebe, je le nekaj tistih tem, ki se jih dotakne pisateljica. Pri spopadanju z vsemi težavami nudi glavnim protagonistom oporo človekov najzvestejši prijatelj, pes. </span></p>
<p><span>Ker smo Pipina posvojili iz Društva za zaščito živali v Kranju, kamor smo </span><span>š</span><span>li iskati tudi njegovega »bratca« Rufija (ki bo dobil svoj blog v nadaljevanju tedna), smo se odločili, da <strong>od vseh prodanih izvodov Pasjih dni </strong>do konca tega leta, podarimo 10 % Društvu za zaščito živali v Kranju. </span></p>

<p><span>Vedno je veliko razlogov, zaradi katerih se odločiš, da bo</span><span>š</span><span> prevedel neko knjigo. Pri Pasjih dnevih so me pritegnili »pasji«. </span><span>Ž</span><span>e prej sem sledila pisateljici Ericki Waller pri njenih drugih delih, ki, kot toliko dobrih knjig, niso prišle v izložbe velikih londonskih knjigarn, Pasji dnevi pa so dali slutiti, da ji bo tokrat zares uspelo. Ericko pri pisanju vodijo čustva, in kot rada ponavljam, tako pri likovni umetnosti kot pri umetnosti peresa, je to tisto, kar naredi delo edinstveno. </span></p>
<p><span>Ko človek bere, išče v knjigi svoje prijatelje, tiste iz življenja, tiste, ki bi si jih želel spoznati, potuje v domišljiji, četudi se ne premakne iz svojega naslanjača, nekam gre. </span><span>Č</span><span>ar človeških misli. Knjiga je življenjska vzporednica treh ljudi, medsebojno neodvisnih, a hkrati prepletenih. Zgodba treh ljudi, ki potrebujejo pomoč, kot tu in tam vsi mi. </span></p>
<p><span>Ena izmed zgodb je Georgeva zgodba. Karakter, ki marsikomu ne bo všeč. Namrgoden, zadirčen, nesramen ostarel moški. Zoprn. Človek ga niti pozdraviti ne bi hotel, kaj pozdraviti, na drugo stran ceste bi stekel, samo da se mu izogne. A pod vsemi temi plastmi, je meni pripeljal nazaj mojega dedka. Je samo osamljen, prizadet, žalosten. Je človek, ki ne joka. Je nergač, ustaljen v svojih navadah. Zna delati le to, kar je delal celo življenje. Zaprt za dvojnimi vrati, brez stika z drugimi. On in njegova </span><span>ž</span><span>ena na drugi strani teh vrat. In kar je delal, je delal za ženo. A nikoli z ženo. Dve kolesi, ki sta se lahko vrteli le skupaj, a jima je os preprečevala, da bi se kadar koli vrteli po isti kolesnici. </span></p>
<p><span>Poppy je vse, kar je Georgu ostalo od </span><span>ž</span><span>ene. Pes, ki ga noče. A kaj, ko pes hoče njega. Pes ima samo njega. Psu je malo mar za </span><span>ž</span><span>al besede. Pes odpusti, pozabi, v trenutku, ko ga pričaka objem. </span></p>
<p><span>Ali je bil pes tisti, ki je manjkal mojemu dedku? Morda. Ali bi ga to odprlo svetu, odprlo dvojna zaprta vrata? Ali bi odkrival nove poti? Ali bi prenehal neprestano delati? Ali bi se z </span><span>ž</span><span>eno nekam odpeljala in nikomur nič povedala? Bi razpravljala o psu in kaj potrebuje? Bi se pes zvil med njiju, ko bi gledala televizijo? Bi ga oba takrat skupaj pobožala in bi se njuni roki srečali? </span></p>
